Diana's Makeover

With the internet abuzz right now about the Wonder Woman costume redesign (pictured below) attached to JMS's pseudo-reboot story that starts with WW ish 600, CBR posted this great article about Princess Diana's costumes through the ages. Super fascinating stuff in terms of history of women, ideology and visual rhetoric. Here's a great interview that Newsarama did with the new artist, Don Kramer. I'll miss Gail Simone because she is amazing, and her tenure on the book has been really good, but I'm also really excited about this new direction.

love the link to the CBR article - very cool. for what it's worth, i actually really like the new costume. i'll be interested in hearing about what's happening in the storyline.
